In response to customer demand, DP Lenticular, the leading supplier of lenticular films, has launched its popular MOTION 20 LPI LF-54° lenticular film in a new sheet format.

Following stimulating discussions with customers in the large format printing sector, new 2.5m sheets have been developed to increase production flexibility. They are available now alongside the existing, highly popular 1.80m sheets.
DP Lenticular also announces that the MOTION 20 LPI LF-54° lenticular film is back in stock. This film supports large format images with dynamic effects such as flip, zoom and morphing, as well as all kinds of animations. With a wide viewing angle of 54° and a thickness of 1.95 mm, it enables the production of animated lenticular images on flatbed digital printers and laminating systems.
"Customers have asked us to offer these extremely popular films in a larger format," said Daniel Pierret, founder and managing director of DP Lenticular. "We wanted to be sure that the product would meet our tight tolerances. Now we're very excited to be able to meet the wants and needs of our customers by bringing these films to market."
As the latest addition, they complement DP Lenticular's portfolio, particularly the sustainable lenticular film 75 LPI Lenstar ECO. It is the only product in the market that contains 50% industrially recycled resin.
75 LPI Lenstar ECO is suitable for almost all offset presses and is offered in a sheet size of 711 x 508 mm. It has been developed to help print service providers achieve their sustainability goals. Designed for easy cutting and finishing, the film boasts high optical clarity, impact resistance, printability and stability on press.
Pierret explains, "Feedback from our customers has been extremely positive across the board. They appreciate the increased sustainability due to the 50% industrially recycled resin, the good price/performance ratio and the high quality of the lenticular image with a 406 µm elliptical lens. There is no impact on transparency, colour adhesion or 3D or animation effects."
Smaller quantities can be ordered online via a dedicated web shop at shop.dplenticular.com.
"As we want to continuously improve our service, we recently changed our logistics partner in Belgium. This has allowed us to lower our prices for all offset printing solutions, especially for customer orders of one or two pallets at a time."
New polypro MicroflexTM lenticular rolls for brand authentication, label and security printing are also currently in production. The thin film features a continuous embossed lens matrix on one side and a printable high gloss surface on the other. MicroflexTM is suitable for flexo and offset printing, but not for sheet-fed printing. The material prints well, is print stable and 100% recyclable. The rolls will be available in late spring, but only for certified print partners.
Look forward to more interesting news in the coming months, starting with our 20th anniversary in September.
