NEC Display Solutions and Raumhaus jointly present solutions for modern workplaces

NEC Display Solutions Europe is equipping its furnishing partner Raumhaus in Berlin with various display solutions for meeting rooms and collaboration. The family-owned company is a holistic partner when it comes to the individual furnishing of offices or objects. In addition to the furniture on display, various display solutions from NEC Display Solutions have been in use in Raumhaus' showroom since 1 September 2020. Whether at the reception, in the team kitchen or in the agile meeting room - display solutions from NEC thus fulfil the technical component of the requirements for a modern working environment in which technology and equipment complement each other perfectly.
"Raumhaus' vision is to create inspiring spaces for productive work. NEC also prioritises efficiency and productivity when developing display solutions," says Matthias Hartmann, Manager Channel Sales at NEC Display Solutions Europe. "We are therefore particularly pleased about this cooperation. Together, we are giving our visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the working world of tomorrow and to see and try out our solutions in an inspiring and modern working environment". "Many customers specifically ask for media technology for the office", says Matthias Pranke, Managing Director of Raumhaus. "All the more reason for us to be pleased that our partnership with NEC enables us to make the technical components of a modern working environment tangible.
Among the solutions on display are the two large format displays C551 and C651Q. With their slim, seamless design, the displays fit perfectly into a modern office. The high Haze level ensures excellent legibility. Furthermore, the displays can also be used in 24/7 continuous operation - thanks to the high-quality components installed.
The InfinityBoard 2.1 with a size of 65 inches shows how meetings can be efficiently and interactively arranged across different locations. With the modular whiteboard solution, content can be created, edited and shared. UHD resolution and precise colour reproduction ensure excellent image quality and good legibility. The wide-angle video conference camera brings together up to 15 people on site and any number of remote participants in a conference call.
"Virtual working is continuing to gain ground with our customers, not least due to the current corona situation," says Matthias Pranke, Managing Director at Raumhaus. "Work places are increasingly organised decentrally in the home office, making communication and exchange via digital media all the more important". At the same time, the office is becoming more important as a place of communication: "Video walls like NEC's solutions are now an integral part of modern working life - and they prove themselves every day in our team, as we also work in the middle of our showroom".
Whether team photos in the kitchen or welcoming customers in the foyer - video walls keep colleagues and visitors up to date even outside meeting rooms. A video wall consisting of 2x2 UN462A large format displays can be seen in the Raumhaus. Contents can be adapted at any time and scaled to the respective requirements. Thanks to the frameless design, the video wall blends in perfectly with its surroundings. In future, solutions from NEC's laser projector portfolio will also be on display in the showroom.
