Company to build global reseller network for 3.2m wide, UV flat-bed and roll-fed SpyderX printer it manufactures in Cambridge

Inca Digital, a leading manufacturer of UV wide-format printers, has formed a sales division to commercialise the new Inca SpyderX dual flat-bed/roll-to-roll printer through a global network of specialist resellers.

Well known for the design and manufacture of the Onset printer, sold exclusively by Fujifilm, and the Truepress Jet W3200UV printer, sold by parent company Screen GP, Inca Digital has launched the dedicated sales operation, headed up by Laura Bannister, as part of its growth strategy. Schneidler Grafiska (www.schneidler.se), Sweden, and Digital HiRes, Spain, are the first companies to be appointed to sell the Inca SpyderX and more companies will be announced shortly.

The SpyderX is the first model to be sold through Inca’s reseller network and the company plans to add new models to the portfolio in the future. The versatile 6-colour + white SpyderX inkjet printer uses Inca ink, features 3.2m wide flat-bed and roll-fed capability for handling rigid and flexible substrates, and delivers high-speed (230 sqm/hr) production at sharp, pin point accuracy.

The SpyderX builds on the heritage of Inca’s successful Spyder 320 range, the high-performance Onset platform and the innovative OnsetX Series launched last year. Today almost 1000 Inca printers – all designed and manufactured at Inca’s HQ in Cambridge, UK - are in operation globally producing superb-quality graphics and POS materials.
