The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20 and its M version, launched in January and April 2023, have received the seal of approval for first-class design: the iF Design Award. The award documents that not only the "inner values" count, but also the outer impression.
This is particularly pleasing for those for whom this series was designed, namely design-oriented users such as architects or designers. But also those who want to design their own POS signs or print building plans, posters in the education sector or simply print wrapping paper are well advised to use these models. The imagePROGRAF TC-20 is ideal for short-run architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) offices, educational institutions and the hospitality industry. The desktop printer delivers high quality, detailed drawings from A4 to A1+ paper size. Its user-friendly design and super-slim, compact chassis with automatic sheet feeder (ASF) make it ideal for small or temporary office spaces, as well as hybrid workers who work in the office and from home. The new 70ml four-colour pigment ink bottles simplify printer maintenance, and free software with advanced design templates helps even the inexperienced create sophisticated layouts. The M version of the model is equipped with a flatbed scanner that can scan A4-sized originals and print them enlarged up to A1+. This can also be done without a computer connection, directly from the printer's control panel or via a USB flash drive.
Posters and flyers can be easily created using the free PosterArtist web application. This is ideal for the hospitality industry such as restaurants and retail shops that want to print posters and menus themselves. "PosterArtist" offers a wide range of templates to suit a variety of needs. Ready-made layouts with changeable text and images are offered, making it easy for even the inexperienced to create original layouts themselves.
Developed with sustainability in mind
Both models contribute to sustainability goals by using less power - 28W or less in operation. They also contain less packaging material and easily recyclable ink bottles. Due to the environmental benefits, including the fact that the models use recycled plastic, the imagePROGRAF TC-20 and TC-20M have been classified as a "Gold Product" under the US EPEAT1 environmental rating system, the highest registration level in the imaging equipment sector.
