Swiss manufacturer of multifunctional digital cutting systems Zünd has developed the LM 100W laser module to cut polyester textiles with thicknesses up to 2mm and seal the edges at the same time. The LM 100W automates what has long been a separate, manual operation and thereby also eliminates the need for seaming. In addition, the LM 100W delivers impeccable cut quality and flawless repeatability. Because laser cutting is a touchfree process, no hold-down is required during processing.
