A certain increase in the number of models is perfectly normal or even obligatory for a product like CAR-SPECIAL, because it lives from updating its database. In the past 12 months, however, more new vehicle drawings have been produced than ever before: there are now over 9,500 vehicles in total, and the specialists at creativ collection published over 750 new, true-to-scale elevations last year. In total, the database currently contains the vehicle models of 185 manufacturers. These include cars, vans, commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, trains, trailers, motorhomes, motorcycles, boats and even transport bikes, so-called cargo bikes.

The ColorGATE Productionserver is the company's core product. The new Version 20 has been updated to Adobe's PDF Print Engine 5, supports spectral spot color definitions and brings compatibility with PantoneLIVE. It has spot color libraries for PANTONE and Free Color, and includes additional settings for the Ink Saver function. Industrial users will also benefit from the new Retouch Module, which allows last minute color corrections before printing while remaining consistent with the color management workflow, and the Color Correction Loop Module, which is a prerequisite for iterative color correction processes in décor production.
