Fespa has five event levels in store for its visitors when the doors open at the Berlin Exhibition Centre on 6 May. Fespa exhibitors will also have over one hundred premieres for visitors to marvel at. By Sabine Slaughter

FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 will unveil the latest editions of its programme, SmartHub and the ESE Pavilion, and welcome the return of existing events: the FESPA Awards 2025, the World Wrap Masters competition and the Club FESPA Lounge.
The SmartHub is located within the Personalisation Experience (Hall 5.2, Stand A55) and includes an exhibition area and a series of expert-led conference sessions. Visitors can also take part in SmartHub's Smart Factory Trail to see smart manufacturing and on-demand technology for production. The Smart Factory Trail allows visitors to gain insight into the importance of reducing waste and increasing operational efficiency while taking advantage of the latest digital production methods.
But with so many new things to see, let's take a look at what each company has already announced:
Agfa: New power packages
In addition to presenting new technologies, Agfa will also showcase a variety of inspiring print applications at FESPA Berlin. Visitors can find out how Agfa's solutions fulfil the different business needs in different applications and markets and how Agfa contributes to a more sustainable digital printing industry.
Antigro Designer: cloud-based solutions
With the Print Customizer, editable templates with extensive personalisation options can be offered for any type of printed product such as mugs, stickers, photo puzzles and T-shirts, which can be seamlessly integrated into existing e-commerce channels such as Shopify and WooCommerce. The Sticker Builder, which combines state-of-the-art artificial intelligence with intuitive design tools to simplify and improve the production of customised die-cut stickers, will be presented alongside other solutions.
Barbieri: Colour measurement solutions
Visitors to the Barbierei stand will be able to discover state-of-the-art colour measurement technology that takes digital printing performance to a new level. The intelligent solutions can increase the efficiency and precision of your printing processes.
Berger Textilien: Environmental focus on environmental friendliness
The company celebrates the European premiere of its soft signage products Ghost, Shade and Barrier. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Berger Textiles has also expanded its EVO range of soft signage products made from recycled materials by offering some of its current products only in this range.
Ghost is a 100 per cent white PES blockout fabric specifically designed for the simple and effective backing of freestanding, backlit displays such as backdrops, frames and pop-ups. With the increasing use of such systems, Ghost offers an affordable and practical solution for installers.
Shade is an opaque, PVC-free banner solution with an acrylic coating for durability and easy cleaning. Shade also features a grey backing, making it a versatile choice for designing smart roll-up systems and banners.
Barrier is a one hundred per cent polyester fabric with an even distribution of holes for excellent ventilation while providing a durable, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional PVC mesh products. Strong and tear-resistant, yet soft and foldable, it is perfect for construction and fencing projects.
B-Flex Italia: Personalisation on textiles
Following the launch of a new high-performance DTF film, B-FLEX Italia continues to invest in the thermal transfer film sector by expanding two historic series, BF 700 and GIMME5, with even more new colours. While the BF 700 series represents B-FLEX Italia's historical line and includes a wide range of colours that are easy and quick to process - also in the SPECIAL and FLUO variants - and have excellent resistance to high temperatures and washing (up to 100 washes at 90 degrees Celsius), the GIMME5 series adds to these characteristics an ultra-fast processing time of just four seconds. After two historic series (BF 700 and GIMME5), it is now the turn of the BF PUFF series, available in 6 colours in the brand new SANDY GLITTER finish, offering even brighter and more impressive three-dimensional effects.
Brother: Products for the next generation
Following the launch of the GTX600 Extra Colour, visitors to the event will be among the first to experience the latest innovation in the GTX600 series - an advanced solution that meets the demands of high-volume production while delivering outstanding print quality and exceptional washability.
Brother will also be showcasing its brand new Direct-to-Film (DTF) solutions, which offer exceptional print quality, industrial quality and efficiency, combining reliability with top performance.
Canon: New desktop printers
Canon is expanding its portfolio of large format solutions with the user-friendly imagePROGRAF TC-21 and TC-21M four-colour desktop printers. The compact printers support printing up to A1+ and are aimed at customers in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), design, hospitality, retail and education sectors.
Drytac: inspiration and innovation
Among the highlights will be the presentation of Polar Frost Air, a translucent, embossed polymer film that simulates the elegant look of etched glass at a more affordable price. Visitors will also learn more about Polar Grip Air, a white, self-adhesive polymer film with air-release technology, which recently became available in Europe for the first time. A brand new display solution will also be announced at the event.
Epson: New print head technology
This can be found in the new Epson SureColor S7100 with the improved PrecisionCore TFP print head, which now jets from 400 nozzles. This enables the printer to achieve a higher print speed. Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT) automatically recognises the condition of the print nozzles and indicates possible faults at an early stage. This improves reliability and achieves high printing performance. Compared to the SC-S40600, the SC-S7100 increases productivity by around 24 per cent in standard print mode (vinyl with 6-pass). This shortens production times without compromising print quality.
Fujifilm: New printers with Single Pass
Fujifilm will announce the launch of the HS3000 single-pass solution and the Acuity Triton with AQUAFUZE ink technology, and introduce the Acuity Ultra Hybrid Pro with full automation. On stand B60 will be the Acuity Ultra Hybrid Pro and the new Fujifilm and Barberan HS3000 single-pass inkjet press, which underlines Fujifilm's leadership in high-end, high-productivity printing.
The Acuity Ultra Hybrid Pro utilises Fujifilm's patented ink technology that adheres to a wide range of media and is specifically designed for rigid and roll substrates. As with the other printers in the Acuity Ultra range, a drop size of 3.5 picolitres ensures exceptional print quality with very low ink consumption. With a print width of 3.3m, the Acuity Ultra Hybrid Pro is equipped with up to 32 robust, durable Kyocera printheads, each delivering a drop size of 3.5 picolitres and up to 10,624 nozzles per colour. The CMYK + Lc Lm W ink configuration ensures outstanding colour accuracy and vibrancy across a range of applications.
For the ultra-high production market segment, Fujifilm and Barberan have developed a single-pass inkjet solution available in two configurations. At the top end is the HS6000, which can achieve production volumes of up to 6,000 m²/hr, while a smaller alternative, the HS3000, will be unveiled at FESPA, which has a lower volume. With a slightly smaller footprint, slightly slower speed and lower investment costs, the HS3000 opens up the possibilities of single-pass inkjet printing to a much wider audience.
With both machines, printers will experience a new generation of single-pass printing technology that takes quality and speed to a whole new level. The HS Series is the first multi-substrate single-pass printer to utilise the latest high-resolution printheads (600 dpi) while maintaining small droplet sizes (5 pl). This breakthrough technology far exceeds the quality and throughput of the HS Series over previous generation single-pass technologies on the market.
Global Graphics: High performance graphics rendering
The company announces Mako Core 8.0: the latest version of its popular Software Development Kit (SDK) for independent software vendors developing editing or workflow solutions for print. This release introduces the groundbreaking Apex rendering technology, designed to increase performance and reduce costs. Apex is designed for high-performance, cross-platform applications and runs entirely on the graphics processing unit (GPU). It offers exceptionally fast rendering and high-quality results on the screen or in a web browser.
Guandong: Green Promenade
Guandong presents its full range of PVC-free substrates, labelled with the GreenLife label, as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional products. These exclusive materials have been specially developed to meet the requirements of an increasingly demanding and competitive market focussed on performance and environmental sustainability. Among the highlights to be presented in Berlin are exclusive materials such as Poly-Rafia, Poly-Banner and PP-Banner, all made from monoresin-based polyolefins - an innovative material that is 100 per cent "recyclable" and reusable without the need for costly separation.
HP: Unleash creativity
The new HP Latex R350 and HP PrintOS Production Hub are reshaping large format printing, according to HP. The printer's hybrid design enables quick changes between flexible and rigid materials. Pixel Conrol technology is designed to ensure vivid colours and even colour gradients.
Inkcups: direct printing on objects
The company presents cylindrical inkjet printing technology with a single helix equipped with Inkcups' award-winning Nano Pin Curing technology. Nano Pin Curing enables printing on transparent cylindrical containers such as Tritan bottles, wine and spirits bottles, candle holders and various glassware without the need for a UV-blocking substance or filler.
Inkcups will also showcase its flatbed direct-to-garment printing technology with the XJET Switch UV flatbed printer for high-quality, full-colour printing on a variety of reusable bags, now with High Speed White Mode for fast, opaque monochrome white prints; and the X5-T UV flatbed digital printer for high-performance industrial printing and promotional products.
Inx: Four new premium digital inks
A series of four new generation inkjet inks will be presented at the stand. The UV-curable, ultra-flexible IPC inks are specially designed for soft signage and lorry banners. The T32 UV Curable, E32 Eco-Solvent and I32 UV Curable inks have been developed for digital printers equipped with Epson print heads.
Kavalan: PVC-free products
Kavalan, a brand of PVC-free banner materials for the wide-format printing industry, will present its eco-friendly banner solutions. Kavalan's portfolio includes a lightweight banner material ideal for lightboxes and other backlit applications, a double-sided blockout textile material, a mesh banner material and a coated wall panelling material.
At its stand, Kavalan will unveil a new look for the brand that is more than just a visual change - it marks an important milestone in the brand's innovative journey
Kongsberg: Creative possibilities
Print and signage manufacturers can discover how Kongsberg PCS' enterprise products, customer support and materials expertise enable businesses to push creative boundaries while improving overall efficiency and productivity with the new global campaign 'Shaping Your Future Together'. Kongsberg PCS will showcase two of its cutting solutions for the print and signage industry - designed to help customers boost creativity, increase efficiency and maximise production: Kongsberg Ultimate 24 and Kongsberg C24.
Mimaki: New DTF technology and inks
The UJV300DTF-75 enables product customisation and printing on objects of all shapes and sizes, as well as value-added signage and interior applications. Mimaki's new ELS-170 and ELH-100 UV inks have been specifically developed to fulfil the EU's REACH regulation. They help customers fulfil the legal requirements while offering durability and flexibility.
To mark its 50th anniversary, the company is presenting further new products. These include two new direct-to-textile printers, the Tx330-1800 and the Tx330-1800B. The Tx330 series offers extensive textile printing functions that can be used to print on a wide range of materials with minimal waste water. Unlike traditional textile printing processes that require pre- and post-processing equipment, the Tx330 series offers a space-saving solution - ideal for users with limited space.
Mutoh: Take a closer look
The XpertJet C641SR Pro is a compact 63cm printer and cutter that combines advanced printing technology with precision cutting in a single device. The XpertJet 1682UR is a 64-inch wide six-colour UV LED printer (C, M, Y, K, white, varnish) that offers productivity of up to 27.3 square metres per hour, innovative multi-layer printing capabilities and future-proof and health-conscious inks.
Another highlight is the new HydrAton 1642, a 162 centimetre (64 inch) roll-to-roll printer equipped with an innovative new ink technology, water-based UV ink, which is a sustainable alternative to conventional inks.
Neschen: Films and more
Neschen presents its range of self-adhesive media, mounting and protective films as well as digitally printable wallpapers. As the inventor of easy dot technology, Neschen offers bubble-free, repositionable solutions that are ideal for retail displays, trade fairs and interior design. The dot-shaped adhesive is quick and easy to apply.
Neschen's mounting and protective films offer excellent durability and versatility in print finishing. Protective films protect graphics from damage while enhancing their visual appeal, whether with a glossy finish for vibrant colours or a matt finish for a sophisticated look. Mounting films ensure secure adhesion to various substrates and deliver professional and long-lasting results.
For interior designers and creative professionals, digitally printable wallpapers offer a perfect blend of customisation and durability. Whether in retail or hospitality, these wallpapers enable unique designs with high-quality finishes and easy application.
OneVision Automation
OneVision's Wide Format Automation Suite offers a holistic solution for the automation of production processes in wide format printing. Whether vehicle wraps, point-of-sale material, branding, signage, banners or small format items such as labels - the middleware automates production from file input to printing and finishing.
Orafol: Climate-protecting solutions
The focus is on spectrally selective sun-blocking films and coloured paint protection films. ORAFOL is presenting the spectrally selective sun protection film ORAGUARD HelioShield for the first time on the European market. This premium solution has been specially developed for retrofitting glazing in interior and exterior areas. Thanks to its high light transmission and excellent infrared reflection, ORAGUARD HelioShield significantly reduces the heat build-up in buildings. The product thus regulates indoor temperatures and reduces energy consumption for room cooling. The energy savings mean that both costs and CO2 emissions can be sustainably reduced - without any visible changes to the glazing.
PlastGrommet: Customisation for everyone
The All In One EDGE will be unveiled at the show, providing an entry-level solution for banner finishing. The All In One EDGE offers the same integrated sealing, eyeletting and cutting capabilities as the popular All In One banner finishing machine used by several online printers for their banner finishing operations and is aimed at mid-sized businesses at a fraction of the cost. Utilising the All In One platform, PLASTGrommet will demonstrate new possibilities in sewing automation for textile finishing with the TexWiz. By adding a sewing module to the All In One, the PLASTGrommet team will demonstrate how to automate the production of air mesh banners during the event.
Sprintis: Growing product range
The company will be presenting its point-of-sale materials as well as the expanded hinged frame range. A specially designed gallery wall provides a comprehensive overview of the snap frame range, which includes models in various formats made of aluminium, in a wood look, in bright colours or in a classic silver look.
ROQ: Fully automated and modular
The company is redefining digital direct-to-garment (DTG) printing with the launch of the next generation ROQ NOW and the ground-breaking ROQ IMPRESS system & robotic accessories. With advances in speed, precision and automation, these innovations open up new possibilities for customised garment production and on-demand printing.
The new ROQ NOW is faster, smarter and more efficient than ever before. Designed for seamless web-to-print integration, this next-generation machine optimises ink consumption, reduces production times and delivers even sharper, more vibrant prints with unrivalled detail.
Sun Chemical: Experience. Transformaton
For the large format graphics market, Sun Chemical introduces Streamline Toccata, a new water-based ink developed for poster printing and corrugated displays. Based on an innovative dispersion and resin chemistry, Toccata inks meet the demanding requirements of display graphics in poster and point-of-purchase corrugated applications, where image quality and durability requirements are stringent.
Sun Chemical will also present a new UV ink technology for printheads using low viscosity inks, such as the Epson i3200. This product range expands Sun Chemical's UV technology portfolio and includes CMYK, white and varnish. Their low viscosity formula eliminates the need for heating in the printer.
Zünd: Reliability and versatility
Visitors will experience the proverbial versatility of Zünd's cutting technology with the example of a Zünd S3 cutter, which will be configured for cutting both roll materials and demanding sheet materials. No less versatile and powerful is its bigger brother, the Zünd G3, which will also be demonstrating its capabilities live. With this cutting solution, material handling and parts removal will be completely automated with the PortaBase 175 robot solution. 175, by the way, due to its impressive reach of 175 cm.
