Agfa, a global leader in inkjet solutions, expands its Anapurna Ciervo family with the new Ciervo H2050 model and introduces the Ciervo H2500 to the North American market at ISA International Sign Expo 2025 (Las Vegas, NV – April 23-25, 2025). With three different sizes now available, the Ciervo range offers more flexibility and efficiency for sign & display printing.
Expanding versatility with corrugated media feed guides
The new, more compact Ciervo printers, Ciervo H2500 and Ciervo H2050, feature advanced optional media feed guides for precise and reliable corrugated printing, making them ideal for packaging and point-of-sale applications. This broadens their application capabilities and maximizes operational uptime. The Ciervo family of printers increases productivity levels by nearly 70% compared to its predecessors. These new guides are also available for the Ciervo H3200 model.
The Ciervo H2500 (98”/250 cm) and the Ciervo H2050 (80”/205 cm) complement and enhance the versatile and agile performance of the larger Anapurna Ciervo H3200 (126”/320 cm).
Anapurna Ciervo H2500: high-performance, agile printing for diverse needs
With a redesigned print engine and shuttle, the Ciervo H2500 achieves impressive productivity levels – up to 59 m²/h (635 ft²/h) in Production Mode, and delivers vibrant, high-quality results on applications ranging from banners and vinyl to corrugated cardboard and coated textiles. Its continuous board-feeding capability allows for efficient printing on up to four boards simultaneously.
The new Ciervo H2500 is ideal for businesses that require premium printing capabilities on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates, up to a width of 2.5 m (98.4 inches). Like its larger sibling, the Ciervo H2500 features six-color plus white inks and UV LED curing.
“Just like all Agfa’s ‘beastly’ inkjet presses, the Anapurna Ciervo H2500 is powerful by nature, combining a compact footprint with unparalleled performance and agility. These two new additions to the Ciervo family are yet another testament to Agfa’s commitment to continuous innovation and to providing a beast for every need”, said the recently joined Christine Polzin, Head of Sales North America, Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa.
Efficiency, sustainability, and safety
All three Ciervo models uphold Agfa’s reputation for efficiency, sustainability, and safety. The printers are engineered to work long hours, thanks to their robust build and enhanced media handling capabilities. GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks ensure vibrant colors with minimal environmental impact, while Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology minimizes ink consumption without compromising quality. With a protective hood and multiple other design features, the Ciervo family also warrants optimal operator safety.
Asanti workflow software
"We’ve always been leaders in software solutions, and our deep expertise positions us as a strategic player in the printing industry. Agfa offers more than just printers – thanks to our integrated ecosystem of printers, software, inks and services we deliver consistency, standardization, control, integration, and efficiency," explains Christine Polzin, Head of Sales North America, Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa
At ISA, Agfa will also showcase the latest version of its workflow software in a dedicated demonstration area. A team of experts will be available to help printing companies enhance productivity, control costs, and improve process efficiency.
Asanti software integrates the entire production flow, minimizing manual interventions and reducing errors. The browser-based dashboard interfaces with MIS/ERP systems to finetune quotes, track production time, and monitor ink and material consumption. It includes features such as automated job grouping, tools tailored for packaging production, and a dashboard that consolidates key production metrics, including ink and material consumption, as well as printer usage.
