At SGI 15 the Dubai-based company presented the ChromoJet X6- LED UV printer. A hybrid machine that employs Epson printheads and achieves a resolution of up to 1,440dpi.
The four colour printer (CMYK) can print on media up to a width of 1.85m at speeds of up to 20sqm (2 printhead model). The staggered head arrangement enables even speeds of up to 36sqm/h and 4 pass mode. The machine is available in three configurations (as 2000/2600/3200 model) and employs variable droplet technology. The gap between the printhead and the media is adjustable, so that substrates from 1.5 to 8cm can be accommodated. Automatic media take-up enables operator free production and smooth transport.
In addition, the Chromojet X6-3200, a eco-solvent roll-to-roll large format printer accommodating rolls up to 3.2m print width could be seen.
