Dubai's first tram branded by Print Works using HP latex ink
The city's newest transport attraction created new advertising space that brands embraced quickly.
Print Works Dubai, the renowned Dubai-based large and very large format printing and fabrication company, was entrusted with the first branding of the Dubai tram. This project meant a full wrap of two trams with seven carriages, each measuring 44 meters in length.

Canon expands its booth
Canon Middle East has a 192 square meter stand in SGI which is bigger than last year. The reason for a bigger stand is obvious. Following the full integration between Océ and Canon on September now Canon Middle East has a wide range of products and solution to display in one stand and under Canon brand. The company will put on display a string of products and solutions including the all newPlotwave 360, Arizona 460 flatbed press and full range of LFP products.
HP presents Latex technology at SGI
HP's star technology during SGI is an all new HP Latex 3000 wide format printer. This printer which was launched during Fespa is gaining in popularity. Already there are 8 units ordered in the Middle East with some already installed.
SGI is the benchmark for the signage industry in the Middle East
Sharif Rahman, CEO of International Expo Consults, organizer of SGI says now that Dubai won the World Expo 2020 bid whole world looking at this thriving city as a source of inspiration and high growth. He says:" Over 168 nations had to vote and we won the bid and it is a great feat not only for Dubai but across the region. Giffin Graphics: First Durst RHO 512 in Abu Dhabi purchased by DNA
In future, The Designer Advertising and Publishing (DNA), an ISO 9001:2008 certified company in Abu Dhabi, will count the Durst RHO 512, a 5 m wide inkjet printer with Variodrop technology, among its fleet of machines.
