Foster will introduce a powered version of its popular On-a-Roll Lifter® Jumbo at SGIA 2017, October 10-12, in New Orleans. Designated the Power Jumbo, the new lifter eliminates the manual effort required to lift the large substrate rolls used with EFI and VUTEk wide format and superwide printers, EFI Reggiani textile printers, and a wide variety of similar rollfed printers. With the Power Jumbo, printer operators and shop floor personnel can effortlessly maneuver rolls as heavy as 990 lbs (450 kg) and with roll diameters as great as 19.6 inches (50 cm). With the Power Jumbo, shop personnel no longer need to use overhead cranes or forklifts near delicate electronic printers and expensive substrate.

The largest group in recent times – 32 people representing 16 countries - took part in the INX International Ink Co. bi-annual International Partners and Distributors meeting, September 13-14.
