Machine manufacturer KAMA has won the European Digital Press Association's EDP Award 2023 in the "Finishing Support Tools" category for its CPX 106 digital positioning system. The software-supported positioning system speeds up the setup of all types of clichés with time savings of up to 90% and reduces waste to a minimum.
The award-winning KAMA solution is compatible with all flatbed embossing machines in B1 sheet format and can be used wherever embossing with register accuracy and hot foil finishing are required: in the production of greeting cards, labels and tickets as well as for high-quality folding cartons for the packaging market.
The EDP Awards ceremony took place at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2023 in Munich. "We are very pleased about the award for the CPX 106," explains KAMA Managing Director Steffen Pieper. "Since its presentation at Fachpack just over six months ago, we have installed several systems, for example in Germany and in the USA. Users quickly get to grips with the user-friendly solution and our commercial and packaging customers are able to increase their productivity."
