PRODUCT PREMIERES, HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS, MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DEMONSTRATIONS AS WELL AS EXPERT ADVICE

Spandex, the one-stop supplier of innovative solutions to the digital printing and sign making industries will host its Innovation Days at an Open House event, at its premises in Bristol on 6th and 7th December 2017.

The Open House will offer sign makers and digital printers the opportunity to engage in a variety of exciting new material and equipment demonstrations, hands-on workshops as well as a host of other activities. Visitors will also benefit from first-hand knowledge from onsite experts who will introduce new ideas to help sign makers and printers grow their businesses.

Leon Watson, UK General Manager, comments: “Our previous Open House events have shown us that customers are always excited to learn about and try out new opportunities to acquire new skills in a friendly environment. The two day event is designed to offer innovative ideas, advice and support to help visitors expand their service capabilities and improve their overall sales and profitability going into 2018.”

A number of hands-on demonstrations will take place across a variety of applications to help visitors identify new business opportunities and try new products and applications.

Vehicle Wrapping

A resident application specialist will show the latest wrapping techniques, using the newest colours, patterns and trends such as the new psychedelic and reflective wrap films, to help visitors improve their own skills.

Interior Décor

Experts will demonstrate a range of interior décor applications including refurbishment, wall wraps and glass panels that will allow visitors to see first-hand the difference digitally printed materials can make to walls and furniture. Attendees will also see the advantages of using frosted materials on windows for privacy and decorative purposes.

Textile

Visitors will be able to witness the entire print process from printing through to the finished product, while realising the vast array of products that can be produced using textile from bean bags to displays. Visitors will see the latest textile printing equipment including the Roland Texart XT-640 and the HP Latex 1500.

During the two days, visitors will also be able to attend demonstrations of a wide portfolio of printing equipment.

swissQprint Impala LED and ROB the Robot

Spandex will unveil two UK premieres at the event. The new industry leading UV flatbed printer, the swissQprint Impala LED, will be revealed for the first time in the UK. Alongside ROB the Robot, a fully automatic modular robotic arm for automating loading and unloading rigid sheets, another UK first.

HP Latex 1500

The super-wide format printer will be running throughout the two days, with experts on-hand to talk visitors through the benefits and functionality of the 3.2 metre printer. With its increased production speeds due to dual-roll printing and high print speeds, this is a not-to-miss demonstration for visitors.

Spandex will showcase even more print technology and equipment from leading manufacturers including HP, Roland, Epson and Sawgrass including flatbed applicators, Rollsroller and Roll X.

Zund’s industry leading swiss digital cutting system, the Zund G3, will also be on display.

Material and application experts

The event will provide visitors the opportunity to speak to material specialists who will be on-hand over the two-day period to impart their knowledge on new substrates and applications, as well as printing tips and techniques for various wide format platforms.

A number of exclusive promotions will be on offer to Open House visitors and all attendees will receive a gift bag.
